Pictured here are two fine boys who LOVE to haul firewood. They beg daily to be allowed to bring in more and more, usually one piece at a time. They are hard workers just like their daddy!

Best friends

The Lord has blessed our two oldest daughters with a fantastic friendship. We are very thankful!

Family picture...almost.

Two of the boys were off playing with their buddies, but most of us are in this recent picture.
We were having a fun evening making fresh pizzas in our friends' self-built outdoor pizza oven.

Jacob's 5 point Buck

Jacob shot the first-ever Upchurch Family buck! Just days after Jessica got her doe, Jacob got this 5 pointer with his bow. He and his sisters took hours to track him down after he was shot, but it ended with success!
He now has the bleached skull w/ antlers as his trophy.

Growing too fast...

Isaac is growing up way too fast, as they all seem to. He has actually lost his sweet curls that are still present in these pictures. He's starting to talk a bit now.

Jessica's First Deer

Jessica shot this nice, big doe with her bow on our place last month. She spent 8 1/2 hours processing it with her faithful assistant, Bethany.
It just so happens that Jessica had taken Bethany with her to hunt the evening she got this one. What a memory they'll always share!
