Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. as arrows are in the hands of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127: 3,4,5

My hospital assistant
Amber stayed with me when Rebecca was born.
Jessica stayed when Josiah was born.
Bethany got to stay when Isaac was born.
And now it was Rebecca's turn!
She looks appreciative to me!
Rebecca's been dreaming of this day. She brought along her favorite prissy dress and bloomers which proved to be a bit large for Hannah.
Here she had just been doing Hannah's hair. There's not much to work with yet!
Josiah and Samuel are already asking if they can stay with me when we have another baby!

Angelic girl
Sweet little Hannah was such an angel on her first night home.
I was up at 2:00 AM ready to feed her, but she decided to wait until 4:30.
That simply means that Momma got more sleep last night than the preceding 3 nights!
Look at those chubby little knuckles.
I love her dimples!

Home Sweet Home
The top picture is one that I took yesterday, when she was about an hour old.
The other two are from the ride home today, in her car seat. I love it when she smiles!
Thank you so much, all of you who were praying for Mom and Hannah. We all appreciate your prayers! (Thank you Mrs. Teresa for cooking supper and cleaning the house! After being up since 3:30, it was nice not to need to clean the house when I got home last night so it would be clean today for Mom. :-)

God bless,

Nothing says "I love you" like....
...a nice bowl of turnip greens from Cracker Barrel!
It's what Jessica has been bringing me several times recently.
It's what Tyler brought me for Mother's Day.
It's what Bruce has brought me just to say, "I love you!"
Yummmmmm!

Did I mention Isaac's love for balls?
I told Isaac it was naptime, and he proceeded to load his bed with every ball he could find.
A little while later, I found he had acquired two more, making a total of 10 balls in his little bed!
There was a little bit of room left for him.
Never met a ball he didn't like. No joke!
Rare picture of me and my WAY better half!
Three Handsome Cowboys and a Fair Maiden
Beyond full term
At today's doctor appointment, it was decided that our baby girl will be induced on Tuesday, July 28th, unless she happens to come on her own sooner than that.
I'm now 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant.
On that date, I will be 41 weeks and 4 days along.
I say let's pray that this little girl will come on her own, preferably when my doctor is IN town. That would be tomorrow or Wednesday. . .or even Monday night!
(My doctor is going on a long weekend vacation with her family this Thursday, and she will return Monday evening, hence the Tuesday morning induction.)
